Yes. The platform is built on Google Firebase, which uses industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit. Authentication is handled via Firebase Authentication with Google Sign-In — we never see or store your Google password.

Your data is protected by server-side Firestore security rules that prevent any unauthorized access or modification. We do not sell data, do not share with advertisers, and do not use any tracking SDKs.

All registered users of the platform can see your profile. This is by design — the platform is built for open browsing. Only add information and social links you are comfortable sharing within this context.

You can deactivate your profile at any time from your account settings, which removes it from public view immediately.

ArrangedSuccess uses Ashtakoot Gun Milan — the traditional Vedic astrology 36-point compatibility system. It evaluates eight categories (Gunas) based on both partners' Moon sign (Rashi) and birth star (Nakshatra):

Varna (1 point), Vashya (2 points), Tara (3 points), Yoni (4 points), Graha Maitri (5 points), Gana (6 points), Bhakoot (7 points), and Nadi (8 points). Total: 36 points. A score of 18 or above is generally considered suitable for marriage.

The system requires both partners' birth dates to calculate. The result is a guide, not a guarantee — use it as one input among many in your decision.

The Wedding Date Finder calculates Muhurta — auspicious timing for marriage ceremonies based on Vedic astrology. It analyzes both partners' birth charts and identifies dates when planetary positions are most favorable for beginning a lifelong union.

The calculation considers factors like tithi (lunar day), vara (weekday), nakshatra (birth star), yoga, and karana. Dates are ranked by auspiciousness and displayed with an explanation of why each date is recommended.

Yes. Birth time is optional. Without it, the system uses noon as a default, which works well for most Vedic calculations since the Moon sign (the primary factor in Gun Milan) only changes every 2.5 days.

For the most accurate results, especially for Ascendant-based calculations, provide your birth time if you know it. Check your birth certificate, hospital records, or ask a family member.
